Bob's Motorcycle Trip


Route of Travel:


Left Los Angeles heading east on I-10 to El Paso. 829 miles.


I-10 goes through Phoenix and Tucson.


Then through southwest New Mexico.


In El Paso, visited the Lucchese Boot Company.
Got measured for custom fitted boots. My feet are not the same size.
Ordered a pair of black calf boots for pick-up on my way to Florida.

Began the trip north to Arches National Park. 660 miles.


But first, a 120 mile side trip to see White Sands National Monument.


Continued north to Albuquerque, getting soaking wet in a thunderstorm.


Then through Gallup and past Shiprock.


Cut through the southwest corner of Colorado.
Then into Utah to Moab.


Finally to Arches National Park.


Began the trip back to Encino. 829 miles.


Headed South through Monument Valley.


Then to Grand Canyon.


The magnificient Grand Canyon.


South to I-40, to the California border.
Got hit by a second thunderstorm, but not as bad this time.
Fortunately an exit came soon and I sought sanctuary.



And from the Arizona/California border to Encino.


Finally, back home in Encino.
